A BIT ABOUT ME

Ever since I can remember, I've always had a passion for helping people. Throughout my own experience in the healthcare system, I have realized that medical interventions and clinicians are only as as good as the tools that they have to implement- tools which are instituted and developed by cutting-edge research. It is through that realization that my passion for research in the area of behavioral neuroscience has grown. I'm currently a Ph.D. student at Kansas State University studying the neurobiological basis of substance use disorder and other neuropsychiatric illness. Beyond that, I have a deep interest and passion for all science and developing novel and interesting ways to address specific scientific questions.
